The following crimes occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between Dec. 26 and Jan 5. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING (2)
Jan. 5, 4:40 p.m. 400 block North 34th Street
Drexel Police arrested a non-Drexel affiliate after he entered the apartment building of a Drexel student without the owner’s consent.
Jan. 5, 4:40 p.m. 3600 block of Baring Street
Drexel Police arrested a non-Drexel affiliate after he was observed inside the apartment building of a Drexel student without the owner’s consent.
Dec. 30, 10:24 p.m. 100 block of 33rd Street
Drexel Police arrested a Drexel student after the student was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana.
Dec. 28, 4:38 p.m. 3500 block of Pearl Street
A Drexel student reported that she was approached by three unknown juvenile males who demanded her cell phone and struck her. The complainant resisted and the males fled empty handed. Minor injury to complainant.
Jan. 3, 9:30 p.m. 3400 block of Baring Street
A Drexel student reported that an unknown male robbed him at gunpoint. The complainant’s wallet containing cash and cards was stolen as well as an iPhone. The student received no injuries.
Dec. 26 to Dec. 28, 3200 block of Pearl Street
A Drexel student reported that between an unknown person(s) took a delivered package from his porch that was left in view.
Dec. 26 to Dec. 30, 3300 block of Arch Street
A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) stole his car that was parked and secured from the side of the road.
Jan. 4, 3:35 p.m. 3600 Baring Street
Drexel Police arrested two males after they were observed taking a delivered package from the front porch of the complainant’s residence. The package was recovered.
Dec. 28 to Dec. 29, 200 block of North 34th Street
A Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) entered a business establishment through an unlocked rear door and vandalized the interior and exterior of the property.
POLICY VIOLATIONS (4)
During the period covered in this report, there were three policy violations for alcohol and one policy violation for drugs. The reports were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
