Crime and Policy Violation Report April 23-29

The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between April 23, 2014, and April 29, 2014. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

THEFT (4)

April 21, 200 Block of N. Broad Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that between April 21 and April 22, unknown person(s) broke the window to his vehicle and ransacked the interior. Nothing was taken.

April 24, 8:40 a.m. 3000 Block of JFK Boulevard

Non-Drexel affiliates reported that April 24, between 8:40 a.m. and 4:50 p.m., unknown person(s) entered their van that was left unsecured and took assorted clothing and laptop computers.

April 27, 11:45 a.m. 3300 Block of Market Street

A Drexel student reported that April 27, between 11:45 a.m. and 4:40 p.m., unknown person(s) took her bicycle that was secured to a bicycle rack with a cable lock.

April 29, 2 p.m. 3300 Block of Market Street

A Drexel student reported that April 29, between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., unknown person(s) took her iPhone that was left unattended in a common room.

POLICY VIOLATION (4)

During the period covered in this report, there were three (3) Policy Violations for Alcohol and one (1) Policy Violation for Drugs. The reports were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
