The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between May 22, 2012 and May 29, 2012. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

Burglary 1

May 24, 7 p.m. 3200 Block of Chestnut Street

A Drexel employee reported that between May 24 at 7 p.m. and May 29 at 8:30 a.m., unknown person(s) forcibly entered a locked room on the second floor. Nothing was taken.

Assault 1

May 24, 2:02 a.m. 3400 Block of Lancaster Avenue

Drexel Police arrested a Drexel student for assault and DUI after he intentionally struck an occupied vehicle while driving intoxicated.

Theft 3

May 22, 7 p.m. 200 Block of North Natrona Street

A Drexel student reported that between May 22 at 7 p.m. and May 23 at 5:30 a.m., unknown person(s) took the emblem from the grill of his car.

May 26, 7:15 p.m. 200 Block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that on May 26, between 7:15 p.m. and 7:25 p.m., unknown person(s) took his cell phone that was left unattended on a table.

May 28, 11:49 p.m. 3100 Block of Market Street

Drexel Police arrested twenty-year-old, non-Drexel affiliate Ikey Rossey and a juvenile on May 28 at 11:49 p.m. after they were observed cutting a lock and taking a bike from a bike rack.

Weapons 1

May 29, 2:05 a.m. Unit Block of South 33rd Street

Drexel Police arrested 33-year-old Joshua Robinson and 28-year-old Jerome Williams, both non-Drexel affiliates, May 29 at 2:05 a.m. for various firearms-related offenses.

Vandalism 1

May 25, 11 p.m. 3300 Block of Powelton Avenue

A Drexel student reported that between May 25 at 11 p.m. and May 26 at 2 a.m., the hood of his car was damaged in an unknown manner.

Drugs 1

May 23, 9:30 p.m. 100 Block of North 34th Street

Drexel Police arrested a Drexel student May 23 at 9:30 p.m. for the possession of marijuana.

Alcohol Policy Violations 2

During the period covered by this report, there were two (2) alcohol related incidents that were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
