The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between Jan. 15, 2014 and Jan. 21, 2014. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
Assault 1
Jan. 22, 1:20 a.m. 300 Block of North 15th Street
A Drexel student reported that on Jan. 22 at 1:20 a.m. she was assaulted by her boyfriend, a non-Drexel student. A minor injury was sustained.
Burglary 1
Jan. 14, 7:30am 3400 Block of Powelton Avenue
A Drexel student reported that on Jan. 14 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., unknown person(s) entered his apartment by forcing the door and took electronic equipment.
Theft 8
Jan. 14, 4 p.m. 3300 Block of Market Street
Drexel students reported that on Jan. 14 between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., unknown person(s) entered their locker room and took cash from their wallets that were left unattended. There was no sign of force.
Jan. 15, 2:54 p.m. 3200 Block of Chestnut Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that on Jan. 15 at 2:45 p.m., an unknown male concealed two books in his bag and left the store without paying.
Jan. 15 2900 Block of Queen Lane
A Drexel student reported that between Jan. 15 and Jan. 16 unknown person(s) took his vehicle that was locked and secured in a parking lot.
Jan. 16, 11:03 a.m. 3300 Block of Market Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that on Jan. 16 between 11:03 a.m. and 11:45 a.m., unknown person(s) took two air conditioners that were left unattended in an outside storage area.
Jan. 16, 1:30 p.m. 2900 Block of Queen Lane
A Drexel student reported that on Jan. 16 between 1:30 p.m. and 1:55 p.m., unknown person(s) took her iPad that was left unattended in the auditorium.
Jan. 16, 5:30 p.m. 3300 Block of Market Street
A Drexel student reported that between 5:30 p.m. and 6:40 p.m., unknown person(s) took his jacket and wallet that were left unattended in an unsecured locker.
Jan. 17, 6 p.m. 3300 Block of Market Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that on Jan. 17 between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., unknown person(s) entered his locker by removing the lock and took his wallet.
Jan. 20, 8 a.m. 3100 Chestnut Street
A non-Drexel affiliate reported that on Jan. 20 between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., unknown person(s) took her wallet from her pocketbook that was left unattended in a room.
Vandalism 1
Jan. 17 3300 Hamilton Street
A Drexel student reported that between Jan. 17 and Jan. 20, the passenger side mirror to his vehicle was broken off in an unknown manner.
During the period covered in this report, there were four (4) Policy Violations for alcohol and one (1) policy violation for drugs. These reports were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
