The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between Oct. 10, 2014 and Nov. 3, 2014.  All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

ASSAULT (2)

Nov. 1, 1:50 a.m. 500 block of North 32nd Street

A Drexel student reported that during a verbal dispute, he was struck in the right eye by a male known to him. The student received only minor injuries.

Nov. 1, 11:18 p.m. 200 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that he was involved in a physical altercation with a male student known to him and received a head injury during the fight.

BURGLARY (1)

Oct. 29, 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. 100 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) entered his room through an unlocked front door and took his wallet that contained both cash and keys.

ROBBERY (1)

Nov. 3, 11:25 p.m. 3600 block of Baring Street

A Drexel student reported that he was approached by two unknown males on bicycles, described as juveniles, who attempted to grab the student’s cell phone from his hand. The phone dropped to the ground and was recovered by the owner.

SEX OFFENSE (1)

June 29, 200 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that on she was raped by a male Drexel student who is known to her.

THEFT (25)

Sept. 29 to Oct. 24, 100 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) entered his room, with no sign of force, and removed jewelry and cash from a lock box.

Oct. 10 to Nov. 1, 100 block North 34th

A Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) entered his unlocked room and took cash that was left in a dresser drawer.

Oct. 21 to Oct. 22, Unit of North 32nd Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) attempted to enter his food truck by forcing the rear doors. Nothing was taken.

Oct. 21 to Oct. 22, 3175 J.F.K. Boulevard

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took her iPhone that was left in her dresser in an unlocked room.

Oct. 21, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., 3300 block of Spring Garden Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a fence with a cable lock.

Oct. 23, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. 3100 block of Ludlow Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a bike rack with a U-Lock.

Oct. 24, 8 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. 100 block of North 32nd Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took her laptop computer that was left unattended in a lounge area.

Oct. 24 to Oct. 26, 200 block of North 34th Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) removed cash from a safe, no sign of force that several people have access to.

Oct. 24 to Oct. 26, 200 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) entered a secured office with no clear sign of force and removed cash from a safe that several people have the combination to.

Oct. 25, 3175 J.F.K. Boulevard

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took her wallet, containing cash and credit cards, that was left unattended in her unsecured room and used the credit cards without authorization.

Oct. 26 to Oct. 27, 3300 block of Race Street

A Drexel student reported that he lost his credit card and, upon reporting it to the bank, was informed that unauthorized purchases were made on the card.

Oct. 27 to Oct. 28, 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Unit of South 31st Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) broke the window to his auto and took items that were left in view.

Oct. 27 to Oct 28, 3000 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) broke the window to his auto and took a suitcase and clothing that were left in view.

Oct. 27 to Oct. 28, 10:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. 3200 block of Race Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) broke the window to his auto and took a GPS.

Oct. 28, 200 block of 32nd Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) broke the window to his car and took a gym bag containing personal items.

Oct. 28, 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. 3000 block of Ludlow Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) broke the window to his auto and took a GPS.

Oct. 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Unit of South 33rd Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a bike rack with a cable lock.

Oct. 30, 11:30 a.m. 100 block of South 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown male riding a bicycle took her lanyard that contained a key from her hand and fled North on 34th Street.

Oct. 31, 10:25 p.m. 3000 block of Market Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown male asked to borrow her phone. The complainant gave the male her phone and he fled with phone in hand.

Oct. 31, 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. 200 block of 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took her clothing that was left unattended in clothes dryer.

Oct. 31, 12:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 200 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took her clothing that was left unattended in a dryer.

Nov. 1, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 3500 block of Market Street

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that an unknown person(s) entered his unlocked auto and removed personal property that was left in view.

Nov. 2, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. 3500 block of Market Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a bike rack with a cable lock.

Nov. 3, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. 3175 J.F.K. Boulevard

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took his bicycle that was secured to a railing with a chain lock.

Nov. 3, 6:30 p.m. to 10:40 p.m. 100 block of North 34th Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) took her bicycle that was secured to a bike rack with a cable lock.

VANDALISM (1)

Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, 3300 block of Cherry Street

A Drexel student reported that an unknown person(s) dropped a pumpkin onto the sunroof of his car, damaging both the sunroof and interior.

ALCOHOL VIOLATIONS (13)

During the period covered in this report, there were 13 alcohol violations reported. The reports were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
