The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between May 20, 2011 and May 27, 2011. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

Assault 1

May 26, midnight 3400 Block of Powelton Ave.
On May 26 at midnight, a Drexel student reported that she was assaulted by a male Drexel student who she knew. Philadelphia Police arrested the male on May 28.

Burglary 5

May 20, 8:00 p.m. 3400 Block of Lancaster Ave.
Between May 20 at 8:00 p.m. and May 21 at 8:00 p.m., a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked front door and took his laptop.

May 21, noon 400 Block of North 34 St.
Between May 21 at noon and May 21 at 3:00 a.m., a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) entered his residence without signs of force and took a laptop.

May 25, 1:55 a.m. 3200 Block of Market St.
On May 25, between 1:55 a.m. and 2:23 a.m., a Drexel affiliate reported that a man forced open the beverage display case and took juice drinks.

May 27, 5:00 a.m. 200 Block of North 34 St.
On May 27, between 5:00 a.m. and 7:20 a.m., a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) entered her unlocked room and took her laptop.

May 27, 6:30 p.m. 3300 Block of Race St.
Between May 27 at 6:30 p.m. and May 28 at 9:00 p.m., a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) entered his unlocked room and took electronics, games, and clothing.

Theft 4
May 23, 6:30 p.m. 3400 Block of Chestnut St.
On May 23, between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) took her wallet from her unattended book bag.

May 24, midnight 3400 Block of Powelton Ave.
On May 24, between midnight and noon, a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) took the registration plate from the rear of his vehicle.

May 25, 1:00 p.m. 3100 Block of Chestnut St.
On May 25, between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., a Drexel employee reported that unknown person(s) took her wallet from her unlocked desk drawer.

May 27, 6:30 p.m. 3100 Block of Chestnut St.
On May 27, between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., a Drexel student reported that unknown person(s) took his cell phone that was left unattended.

Trespassing 1

May 22, 1:22 a.m. 3200 Block of Chestnut St.
On May 22 at 1:22 a.m., Drexel Police observed four Drexel students inside the construction site. The incident was referred to the Office of Student Conduct.

Vandalism 1

May 26, midnight 100 Block of North 34 St.
On May 26, between midnight and 8:00 a.m., a Drexel staff member reported that on unknown person(s) damaged a hand sanitizing machine in the lobby.

Alcohol and Drug Policy Violations 3
During the period covered by this report, there were three (3) reported policy violations for alcohol. The reports were sent to the Office of Student Conduct for review.
