Dear Triangle writers, readers, alumni and supporters,

As my Drexel experience comes to a close, and I prepare to graduate into an increasingly uncertain world, I want to thank all of you. First, thank you to the Triangle staff for allowing me the opportunity to work with you all for the last three plus years. Working with you all towards the common goal of producing a newspaper has shown me that even in uncertain times, hard work, passion and dedication to telling the truth, and just creating something with a purpose, really does pay off. I have learned almost as much from you all at the Triangle as I have in my academic career, and I have no words adequate to express how grateful I am for that.

I have always believed that when you care about something, and are passionate about it, even the hardest and most grueling work is easy to get through, and that has certainly been true at the Triangle. Three years of Thursday nights well past midnight in the Creese Student Center basement have tested that theory at times, but the incredible staff, past and present, have always been what keeps me coming back. I am proud to have been a photographer, a writer, your co-chief photo editor, managing editor and distribution manager, and I am even more proud to consider you all my good friends. I am sad to go but also excited to see where the Triangle will go in the future, because no matter what the future holds, I know the Triangle is in excellent hands.

To the readers, supporters and alumni, thank you. To every person who told me they appreciated an article, crossword or otherwise, or even just read the paper, it has meant the world to me to know that people have actually valued the amount of time I know the staff and I poured into the paper. I have always believed that journalism is a critical civic good and helping to fill that gap for the Drexel community is something I am honored to have been able to contribute to. That being said, it would not have been possible without the generous support of our alumni, and I am eternally grateful for your help in guiding the Triangle into the future. Lastly, if you are a student here at Drexel, I ask that you consider joining the Triangle. No other organization on campus has such an incredible mix of majors, people and personalities. The Triangle changed my life for the best, and I am who I am today in part thanks to it. Thank you all, keep up the great work and fight the good fight – I will be rooting for you.
