Mau5trap announces new tour featuring EDM up-and-comers

It’s been an exciting year so far for mau5trap, with EPs from both Attlas and Rezz (stylized ATTLAS and REZZ) having joined the label’s catalogue. But they did not want to stop there. Mau5trap decided to surprise fans with a one of a kind tour featuring Attlas, Matt Lange, Rezz, Steve Duda and the founder of the label himself, deadmau5. It’s safe to say at this point that fans are losing their minds. This is a stacked and diverse lineup, as each of these artists has a very unique sound.

This tour is one of a kind as it gives fans the chance to experience the music from mau5trap artists. Canadian producer Attlas is known for his summer-esque and atmospheric movie sound productions such as his recent mau5trap EPs “Sin” and “Scene.” Steve Duda is a long time deadmau5 collaborator and half of blue screen of death.

The youngest artist joining them on tour is Rezz who, at the age of 20, is spinning some of the most noteworthy underground techno playing today. Rezz caught the ears of deadmau5 and Skrillex, making her the topic on every music blog and publication as the “Girlsaffelstein.” She had gained a large following through her free releases on SoundCloud and her debut label release “Serenity” came out in June. Her peculiar, dark and eerie atmospheric tracks caught the ear of Skrillex and led to her follow up a three track “Insurrection EP” on his NEST imprint. Her live show experience is just as special as her sound, increasing her cult-like following with every passing show. She is one artist you definitely want to keep an eye on.

The tour kicked off in Toronto and is making its way to Philadelphia before wrapping in Miami, Florida, just in time for Miami Music Week. They will be playing at Rumor March 1. I highly suggest everyone get his or her tickets to this show, as this is one you do not want to sleep on.
