So, with the loss, Drexel's CAA schedule is now over. Now, although that means that they have no more guaranteed games left this year, with their résumé, the Dragons should have an extremely good chance of earning a bid to the National Invitation Tournament.

The Dragons have an impressive non-conference résumé as well as some big CAA wins that should help them receive an invite to the NIT, but none are larger and more impactful than Drexel's win over then No. 20 Louisville.

The Cardinals, since the loss to the Dragons, have been steadily improving throughout the season, thus giving Drexel more credit for defeating such a feared Big East Conference powerhouse.

Along with the NIT possibilities - they haven't been invited to the tournament since 2007, which incidentally was the last time they had a successful run in the CAA tournament when they reached the semifinals - the Dragons also have a few honors of which they should feel proud.

Leading scorers Givens and Fouch have both been named to the CAA All-Conference team; Givens to the second and Fouch to the third. Furthermore, two of the most impactful players in coach Bruiser Flint's rotation this season have been freshmen point guard Frantz Massenat and forward Dartaye Ruffin. Both first-year players have been named to the CAA's All-Rookie Team.
