The 9th Annual Northern Liberties Winter Music
The Northern Liberties Winter Music Festival, started Tuesday, Feb. 8, comes to a rowdy conclusion on Sunday, Feb. 13, with the Fire playing to host to over 40 artists in between. On Friday night, quirky new hip-hop band Cookie Rabinowitz headlines, with their performance being recorded for a live record. Special guests Jeanette Berry and the Soul Nerds anchor a great supporting lineup. The following night features a bill of the city's best singer-songwriters, headlined by XPN Fest main stage veteran Andrew Lipke. Supporting him will be Adrien Reju, Sisters 3, Cowmuddy and many more. The Fest winds down on Feb. 13 with a special all-ages show, featuring one of Philly's hardest working touring bands, Tsunami Rising. The show will also feature YROCK favorites The Warhawks and more. Following the final show of the Fest, the after party kicks off at 11 p.m. with discounted drinks and great music by DJ Jonas of Bouffant Bangout. The festival is presented by WXPN and YROCK.
