The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

January 29, 2009

FRAUD

12:01 a.m. Northside Market

A Drexel student reported that someone had used his DragonCard for a purchase totaling $70.45 at the Northside Market in Kelly Hall.

THEFT-FROM BUILDINGS

5:21 p.m. W.W. Hagerty Library

DPS received report from a Drexel student of a missing brown wallet from her bag at a desk on the first floor of the library.



January 30, 2009

ASSAULT

6:35 p.m. University Crossings

DPS received a report from a Drexel student who said that he had been hit in the face by another student. The victim had a cut over his right eye and did not sustain medical attention.

LAW VIOLATION-LIQUOR

9:20 p.m. 3300 Block of Powelton St.

DPS reported an intoxicated female walking west on 32nd Street and Powelton Avenue. She passed out on the corner of 33rd Street and was transported to Hahnemann Hospital.

February 1, 2009

VANDALISM

4:08 a.m. 3200 Block of Race St.

Three individuals reported to DPS that they had heard gunshots, and had seen what they believed to be three white males who vandalized a car and entered Race Street Hall. The car was a white four-door '88 Oldsmobile and had four holes smashed into the front windshield. The passenger and driver's side front windows were smashed and the back windshield also broken.



BURGLARY

1:03 p.m. Towers Hall

A Drexel student reported that his bank debit card and $40 were missing from his room.

February 2, 2009

THEFT-FROM BUILDINGS

5:27 p.m. Daskalakis Center

DPS received report from a Drexel student that his driver's license and Bank of America credit card were missing from his wallet. The student noticed the theft after returning to the locker room in the DAC.
