Bill named Scholar Athlete of the Year

Another one of Drexel's varsity athletes was honored this spring for outstanding achievement in sport and academics. Senior attackwoman Jessica Bill was announced as the Women's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the year in 2008. The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) names one player every year as their Scholar-Athlete for each level of collegiate lacrosse.

Elegar works out with 76ers

Frank Elegar has racked up a plethora of frequent flyer miles working out for numerous NBA teams in preparation for the 2008 NBA Draft. But on June 24 he found himself right at home at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, working out for the 76ers.

Prizefighter fails to deliver knockout punch

When we first heard that Don King Presents: Prizefighter was going to be for the XBox 360, we were very excited and were curious if this game could compete with the Fight Night franchise. The flashy Don King is obviously a famous name to boxing and sports fans alike and is best known for promoting the "Thrilla in Manilla" and the "Rumble in the Jungle" and working with Mike Tyson.
