Great Court Renovation - Phase 1
This project involves the renovation of main entry corridors on the first floor connecting to the Great Court. Also, a consulting engineer has been hired to investigate and design an air conditioning system for the Great Court, its open levels, and the main auditorium. A proposal to develop the HVAC systems design has also been submitted for review. The project is expected to complete in June 2006 and the estimated budget is $190,000.
College Of Engineering Fit-Out
This project entails the construction of the nanotechnology laboratory suite on the first floor of Bossone Research Center, which is complete, as is installation of lab casework. P. Agnes, Inc. is currently constructing a laboratory suite on the fifth floor. Electron microscopes and related equipment are currently being installed, relocated, and calibrated to operate in the new suite. Construction began at the start of April and is scheduled to be completed in time for the fall term 2006. The estimated budget for this project is $2,200,000.
