Martin hits 1,556th in Dragons win over Hofstra

The Drexel women's basketball team held of Hofstra Feb. 20 to notch their 16th win of the season by a score of 63-54.
Katrina Martin scored 21 points in the game to tie Barbara Yost for second place on Drexel's all-time scoring list with 1,556 points. Martin also recorded 10 rebounds.
The Dragons trailed for most of the first half but an early second half run gave the Dragons a cushion that Hofstra could not overcome.
Catherine Scanlon led the Dragons with 22 points and eight rebounds in the game. Vanessa Gidden led the Pride with 15 points.
The win puts the Dragons at 10-4 in the Colonial Athletic Association as the season winds down.
