Vince Vidas, a Drexel Alum and former football All-American, and his wife Judy donated $1 million to the Drexel crew in hopes of revitalizing the program. The donation is part of a $3 million "Give Me Ten Campaign" to help bring prominence to the program and allow the team to better compete on a national level.
After sweeping the state of California by beating Stanford and Cal, dominating play against Philadelphia teams with wins over Villanova, St. Joe's and Temple and starting off league play with a 5-1 thrashing over the Hofstra Pride, the women's field hockey team couldn't get any better.

No, we are not playing a game in the NCAA Tournament like Malik Rose and our men's basketball team did in 1996.
The women's basketball team released its schedule for the 2008-2009 season. The Dragons will open up with a game at American Nov. 16. Three days later Drexel will open up at home against Philadelphia rival Saint Joesph's. The Dragons will play in the The Coors Classic Tournament, hosted by the University of Colorado on Nov.
The Dragons ended their five-match scoreless streak, and more importantly jumped out to a 3-1 advantage and it looked as though they would take an easy victory. However, with less than 30 minutes remaining, the Seahawks had one final charge left, and ultimately it brought them a stunning overtime win.
After the successes of previous LEGO titles such as Indiana Jones and multiple Star Wars games, one would expect Traveller's Tales to come through with another masterpiece, despite continuing with their concept that was once deemed "too kiddy" to reach an adult audience and sell lots of copies.
