Hofstra comes back, steals Drexel's NCAA bid

The stage was set for the men's lacrosse team to celebrate the first CAA championship in school history. Drexel led Hofstra 9-7 with under a minute-and-a-half to go and the celebration to follow seemed all too fitting for a team that had accomplished so much this year.

Softball finishes season with loss

The women's softball team lost its chance to compete in the CAA Tournament as the Dragons were swept in their final three-game series by Georgia State. Drexel lost 8-5 and 5-4 in a doubleheader May 3 and lost its season finale 5-3 May 4. The Dragons started off well in the final game of the series, taking a 3-0 lead in the third inning.
