July 19, 2008

BICYCLE THEFT

1:02 p.m. 3500 Block of Baring St.

A Drexel student reported that her gray/green mountain bike, valued at $150, was missing.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

1:32 p.m. Myers Hall

A student from the Outstanding European Students program, being housed in Myers Hall, reported that her room key and black Motorola cell phone were stolen from the second floor lounge.

BICYCLE THEFT

7:33 p.m. Creese Student Center

A Drexel Student reported that his $400 red BMX trick bike was stolen from the bike rack.

VANDALISM

9:15 p.m. 3500 Block of Pearl St.

A 2004 Pontiac Vibe was reported vandalized, with the driver side window smashed in. Nothing was reported missing.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

8:57 a.m. MacAlister Hall

A summer student reported that he had left his backpack outside the bookstore and was stolen. The bag contained various items including a digital camera, with a total value of $325.

July 25, 2008

VANDALISM

6:08 p.m. 3100 Block of Powelton Ave.

A navy blue Toyota Corolla was reported vandalized with the driver side window smashed in. Nothing was reported missing.

July 27, 2008

BURGLARY

1:33 p.m. MacAlister Hall

A Drexel employee noticed that there were signs of forced entry in one of the rooms in MacAlister Hall. A black male was found lying in an adjacent room, but left when the employee went to call DPS. A screw driver, presumed to have been used to gain entry was found and taken to DPS for fingerprints. Nothing was stolen.

VANDALISM

2:39 p.m. 35th Street Parking Lot (D)

A vehicle was reported vandalized with damage to the front quarter panel on the driver side. The owner of the vehicle reported that the damage was estimated to be $1,000 by his insurance company.

4:52 p.m. 200 Block of N. 35th St.

A Drexel student reported that he front windshield of his Chevy Blazer had a baseball size dent.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

10:33 a.m. MacAlister Hall

Two laptops were reported missing from an office in MacAlister. The cabinet where the laptops were kept showed signs of forced entry, but the room did not.

BICYCLE THEFT

1:47 p.m. 3200 Block of Powelton Ave.

A Drexel student reported that he had locked his red Alpha bike to a drain pipe on the front porch of his house. The student said that the drain pipe had later been cut and the bike was stolen.

4:02 p.m. North Hall

A Drexel student reported that her silver Dell laptop, valued at $1,000 had been taken from her dorm room in North Hall.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

4:29 p.m. Myers Hall

Two students in Myers Hall reported that money was being taken from their room little-by-little. A total of $220 was reported taken.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

3:28 p.m. Kelly Hall

A program director running a summer program in Kelly Hall had noticed a 2/3 size refrigerator and two microwaves missing from the seventh and eighth floors of Kelly. After an internal investigation, the items were reported missing and stolen.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

9:29 p.m. North Hall

A Drexel student reported that his Play Station 3, valued at $600, was missing from the common room of his suite in North Hall.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

10:00 a.m. New College Building

An i-Mac laptop as well as keys to the office and desk that the laptop were located in were reported missing.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

4:25 p.m. New College Building

A black projector was reported to have been physically ripped off the ceiling of a room in the New College Building.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

11:00 a.m. New College Building

A Drexel employee reported that a sum of up to $400 was missing from a safe in the Neuro-surgical department.

August 1, 2008

VANDALISM

1:13 p.m. 3300 Block of Arch St.

A Drexel student reported that the front passenger side window of her vehicle had been shattered.

2:49 p.m. Bellet Building

A Drexel employee reported that her black Samsung slider cell phone had been taken from her office.

6:20 p.m. New College Building

A silver Mac laptop was reported missing from a research lab in the New College Building.

August 2, 2008

VANDALISM

6:35 p.m. 3300 Block of Arch St.

A Drexel student reported that the passenger side window of his maroon Honda Civic had been smashed in, but nothing was taken.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

7:07 p.m. 3400 Block of Powelton Ave.

While hosting a party at his residence, a Drexel student reported that a black Acer laptop and a Play Station 2 were stolen.

August 5, 2008

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

8:07 p.m. 3700 Block of Lancaster Ave.

A Drexel student reported that his Kia Optima had been broken into. The front passenger side window was smashed in and a GPS unit, valued at $200, was missing.
