Abstract:
Drexel men's basketball coach Bruiser Flint had been politicking for his team to host Penn ever since his tenure began eight years ago.
"It's the 20th meeting of Drexel-Penn," Flint said last year after the Dragons knocked off the Quakers in overtime for just their fifth win in the history of the rivalry....

I prefer attending games at the Palestra over the Dac as a Drexel fan. However, with the construction at the Dac why would it not be at the Palestra until the Armory is built. The Dac isn't big enough to handle a high school basketball game let alone a great game like Drexel vs Penn.
I hope the Armory contruction starts soon at this rate I doubt the Armory will be finished by 2014.

The walk is actually .6 miles from the from the Palestra.
Canceling classes would be incredibly dumb. Our venue seats 2,500 people. Assume we get 2,000 seats for students, that's still 8,000+ students that don't get in. And the fans that do get in will probably be a majority of the die-hard Drexel fans, and the rest probably don't care/won't watch on tv. I'll be skipping class, but don't cancel it. That's idiotic. What else would I expect from Mike though.
