I second the comment. Also why the hell do we have to pay tuition for the time we spend on co-op. This is one of the most absurd policies I find I am dealing with. I am really skeptical if the USGA is capable of effecting major changes like these, though. Drexel's administration is a tough nut to crack and they will manipulate the USGA puppets according to their business needs. But hopefully this year's president incumbent will be able to actually identify what the pressing issues are and engage in a proactive student oriented campaign for change. O ha nd btw I didnt vote because I knew none of the candidates well enough and did not have time to read the lengthy speeches.

I agree. The USGA needs to get out there and "get their hands dirty". They need to take a more proactive approach as do many other organizations on campus. They should get out there and talk to students walking down 33rd street and near Creese and in the quad and other busy areas of campus to see what the main issues and concerns are. And I also like the idea of having tables set up from time to time around campus. It makes the USGA a lot more visible on campus.
Not only that but it comes off to me as being really sad that the university probably persuaded more people to vote in the PA primary then they did on their own campus student government elections! I'm not saying encouraging people to vote in the state primaries is a bad thing but you should at least make an equal effort for the student government elections. Why are we encouraging so much involvement off campus rather than on campus?
