New Age labeled as responsible for causing another dilemma? That certainly does not cause any level of surprise for me. As a former New Age tenant, I am absolutely shocked that i put up with New Age's shoddy property management for a year, because it took me only one week after move-in to discover that I would be in for a rough ride. However, I must hand it to New Age for being consistent, hands down: consistently late in returning repair requests, consistently in denial about owing us money, and consistently weak in fixing problems. I extend my sympathy to the unfortuntate tenants who must evacuate the premises, and I wish you only the best in finding a new apartment NOT run by those knuckleheads known as New Age.

The owners of this property are really to blame as they have been well aware of the poor condition and have refused to make the proper investment in the repairs. This is yet another attempt of wealthy landlords trying to extract as much money from these decaying properties at the students expense. Drexel should have an office of off campus housing and should take more responsibility to ensure better quality housing and less abuse from slum lords for students who need to live on or near campus.

I feel sorry for the tenants of New Age Property that has been condemned.I have a property I can short term lease immediately if it will help anyone. It is near the pharmacy College though- by 46th and Woodland. I take care of my tenats and properties so I hate to hear these stories. It makes all landlords look bad. I hope the situation resolves itself for all parties involved.
