Drexel lights up campus for Flyers playoff run

Abstract:
The pyramid lights near the Main Building have been changed to display orange, white and black lights to support the Philadelphia Flyers as they try to reach the Eastern Conference Finals.

The lights are part of a larger campus lighting plan, according to James Katsaounis, executive director of communications and marketing for the Division of Student Life and Administrative Services....

If you read the article closely, it says the lights are supposed to support the Flyers "IN the Eastern Conference Finals" Clearly, Noah understands, as does Drexel, that the Flyers are already in the Eastern Conference Finals

This is what the abstract says:

"The pyramid lights near the Main Building have been changed to display orange, white and black lights to support the Philadelphia Flyers as they try to reach the Eastern Conference Finals."

That's all. Sure you can say he knew but that's not what he wrote.

I really don't understand this... apparently Noah is the Editor of this paper, but doesn't know that the Flyers are in the conference finals? My 3 year old brother knows the Flyers beat the Canadiens to make the conf. finals.

Also, I could be color blind, but the lights of those colors sure look like purple, red, white and blue to me.

Maybe what Noah meant to say was is that Drexel was so against the Flyers possibly making the conference finals that they put up Canadiens colors instead, outside of the purple.

Do some research Triangle! This is pretty embarassing for the city of Philadelphia.

Noah,

Even though I am Russian and can't speak English very well I do comprehend what Sydney was saying.

Maybe you had written the article before the Flyers had Canadiens and that makes a lot of sense. However, being editor wouldn't you have thought to check it over beforehand?

I wouldn't go as far as Sid the Kid on this one, but hopefully you can make adjustments in the future, just as I have from my rookie season to my sophomore campaign.

That's why I am a Hart Trophy Candidate.

I think problem have Philladelphia not passion fans like Pittsburgh. They can have younger player as team, but not overall. Penguin have advantage and have better team because points. It matter ice not mouth so see tonight what happen.

I agree with "Pens in 4." It blatantly says it in the abstract that Noah stated the facts incorrectly. In addition, I asked Keith Jones and he told me in the hard copy of the newspaper, it also stated that the Flyers were apparently not in the the conference finals yet. "Read Closer," I think you should read closer. I can have Jonesy send you a copy if you would like.

I am going to have to side with my teammates on this one. Despite coming from a variety of backgrounds the one thing we all know is Noah made a mistake. There have been a lot of mistakes in The Triangle. I know, I've read the paper many a time before. However, none of which have been of this magnitude.

To Read Closer:

We might be NHL players, but we can read. Maybe you should get your eyes checked, because apparently you can't.
