A different approach to new school designs for LEED Certification may be to "think outside the box". Instead of just thinking about new ways to approach the design for the inside of the building - look at the whole complex - think outside the building. Many more credits are available by utilizing pervious pavements, as suggested by the LEED-NC Guidelines. Generally, people don't think about LEED Credits in the parking lot, but they should be considered.
