Chinatown buses provide inexpensive travel option to NYC

Abstract:
Philadelphia is filled with cultural hotspots, ranging from concert venues and sports stadiums to numerous galleries, independent movie theatres and everything in between. One could probably find an event to fit their entertainment and leisure likings all seven days of the week....

Ummm...how was the concert?I tried to get tickets but they sold out too quickly.

The concert was great! I've seen Tegan & Sara twice in much smaller venues and prefer the more intimate setting, but Terminal 5 was a promising venue that I hope to return to in the near future.

As far as the Bolt Bus goes, the departure times are not as frequent and I would not be able to travel back to Philadelphia after a concert. According to Bolt's website, their last departure from NYC is at 6:30 pm on a Monday night. But yes, Bolt is another wise student option--not as cheap as a Chinatown bus round-trip, but close and accessible to campus.

um, if you book your bolt bus ticket ahead of time it's DIRT cheap PLUS there is free wifi! i'm traveling round trip to NYC for memorial day (fri-tuesday) for SIX DOLLARS!!!!!!! Yes round trip. and the bus is freaking gorgeous / clean / new / and once again FREE WIFI
