University City underwear run goes "unofficial"

Abstract:
The proposed University City "Undie Run" has been changed to a "bathing suit run" with a new route after Drexel University and City of Philadelphia officials declined to support the original concept, event organizers said.

Yeah I don't think that would be a good idea in Philadelphia anyway. They had something like this on Penn's campus. I was coming out of the Fresh Grocer at 40th and Walnut and the reactions from people on the street was not good at all! As one naked guy ran by waving a flag one lady shouted "WHAT IS THAT GUY'S PROBLEM?!?" and she said she was going to get her taser out and start tasing some people! Lol.

This area is very conservative. If you couldn't already tell by the vast majority of people who come off as cranky, <>!!
