Health care needs to be done so many people are without or have insurance with co-pays that still makes it difficult to go to a dr. or buy medcine as things are so high.But I do believe it needs a whole change over and to do it right will take time.Such as when you get billed 5.00 for the use of a syrance that cost 5 cents, then the medication and then 18 dollers for the person to give it.I could buy the syrange for a nickle and then buy the medication if had an RX for it and give to myself, would save me a lot of money but I know this can't be done but they need to look at cost of supplies, medcines and if you are paying the doctor 85 dollers for a visite then he can give the injection or lower the price of his nurse to give it. Just look at doctor bills and hospital bills, there is a lot of things in there that shouldn't be or too high. My Mother had a stroke and heart act. at the same time.Her bill was over charged, and some things she didn't even get.My father had great insurance so that was no problem but he didn't think it right to have the insurance company pay for something she didn't get. I took the bill to the head of the hospital and showed him and said she didn't get the things that are marked. He said "well they only pick one of the things to pay for heart or stroke so we took the stroke as it gave her a little more time.These things may have been charged on the wrong pt. but helps make up for our loss on the heart" now that isn't right. So they need to take their time and make it right and read the darn bill.Health care is needed but they need to do it right and take their time doing it.
