Ohio State, West Virginia among favorites for BCS title

For many colleges besides Drexel, the end of August is back-to-school time. Of course, most of us are ready for this damn term to be over so we can have a couple of weeks off before we report to either class or our new co-ops in September. While it sucks that most people will be back in class before I finish my summer classes, I can't be too mad. Why, you ask? Because now that school is back in session, I can have something to do on Saturday besides studying, watching women's softball tournaments and of course complaining to my roommate that the World Series of Darts is the only thing on TV. College football will be back next week and I'm so excited that I decided to do a mini-season preview. Ladies and gents, here are the ten teams with the best chance of winning the BCS championship, with absolutely no griping about the lack of a playoff.
10. (tie) Miami (FL)
They're here for one reason and one reason only, which is because "The U" is, well, "The "U." They always recruit in the top 10 and there's always a superstar waiting to take the next superstar's spot in the starting lineup. I'm not a big fan of Kyle Wright, but he should improve this season. Their tough schedule should be what takes them down. Their title hopes could come to an end in the first game of the season, against FSU.
10. (tie) LSU
They smashed the team they're tied with in my list in the Peach Bowl last year 40-3. Common sense would say that they should be higher than Miami, right? Well, they play Auburn, Florida and Tennessee on the road this year, and they have a minor QB controversy on their hands.
9. Florida
Many people wonder whether Chris Leak can adjust to Urban Meyer's offense this year. I think he will, only because he has to. This is his last year and his NFL stock might weigh heavily on how he performs this season. If he does well, he might go on to replace the 49ers' Alex Smith, the last Urban Meyer-tutored quarterback, who's been a bust.
