CDI will implode the chimney, colloquially called "The Shaft" and now owned by Amtrak, using dynamite and will let it fall into a narrow gap between the SEPTA tracks and the CSX high-line viaduct.

We all look forward to the holiday season, our memories filled with the warmth of freshly baked cookies, slow roasted dinners, soft sweater-draped hugs and crackling fires. Yet in that excited anticipation which starts with the first cold spell of the season, we forget that with November may come a familiar chill that has nothing to do with the weather.

Dear SEPTA,

On behalf of Drexel commuters, professors and co-op students alike, we'd like to extend our appreciation for your services. You are the reason many of us are able to get to class or work everyday at a reasonable rate.
Sure, sometimes we become irate when your machines eat our tokens or your trains leave the platform without us, but we eventually get over it.

If you know when to go, Mad Mex near Walnut and 34th is a much better place to eat than many people give it credit for. It has a great location,an exciing menu, well done food, and, if you go between 2 and 4 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, you can get most of what you order for half off! As far as I am concerned, inexpensive tasty Tex-Mex is in the top ten list of what many college kids enjoy.

There has never been a major league baseball game in November with the exception of 2001, when the 9/11 attacks interrupted the regular season schedule.

But for 30 Drexel students, this year's Halloween involved community service. The Center for Civic Engagement and the Pennoni Honors College brought 50 sixth graders from West Philadelphia schools to Race Street Hall to celebrate Halloween in style.

Why should you come out this weekend and support the Drexel field hockey team?

Simple: because they're on the verge of making history.

The 10th-ranked Dragons have already amassed a program-record 17 victories, earned homefield advantage throughout the Colonial Athletic Association Championships and stand just two wins away from capturing the second-ever CAA title in Drexel history.
